Lakefield Fire Department

Duties:

• Performs under the supervision of the Fire Chief, the Volunteer Firefighter performs advanced firefighting work in preventing, combating, and extinguishing fires, responding to a variety of incidents and emergency calls.
• The Fire Department holds one monthly meeting and one monthly training session that you would be required to attend. You will be paid for responding to emergency calls, attending monthly meetings and monthly trainings

• Work involves training for and participating in duties of protecting life and property through the performance of firefighting and emergency service activities.

You are available for retirement benefits after a certain number of years on the department. Job applications will be kept on file for one year.
